Life if full of a million things that we remember and cherish, enough to not even fill "One Gargantuan Monkey Fist". This is a collection of those special, unique and funny events my life, thoughts on technology, F1 and the ying-yang of relationships.

The Automobile Tag

I was tagged the last time by Kriba about books. Being a not so avid reader, here is a topic that is more close to my heart. Automobiles. And yeah, I thought I might do something different and see how things turn out.

When I was a kid, I lived in Conoor. My landlords being Anglo-Indians, had a bunch load of foreign cars. These included a really nice, left hand drive Beetle, which of course was the first Non-Indian car that took a ride in. I was also fortunate to drive in an 80's Merc and an Isuzu. Hence the special attraction to these amazing pieces of engineering.

So here goes,

The car that You currently drive:

A 1990 Nissan 240 SX. Its an automatic and no I don't like automatics, but this is my student car and I had to settle for what I could find, given my budget. But over the years, I have gotten to love this car. Its small, sporty and fast.

The car that you might buy:

If my future holds me being a family man:
Choice 1) BMW M3

This is a sporty German car. BMW's have a charisma, I might settle for a 2003 325 Ci that costs almost half of what a new one would cost, but if I have my way, I might spend about 10 grand more and get this.

Choice 2) A Chrysler 300 M.

This car has the looks of a Rolls Royce Phantom, but is mighty cheap. I for some reason love the boxy looks. 4 doors and you cant go wrong.

If I am single for a few more years, which is the likely case

Choice 1) A Nissan My Fair Lady (a 350z as its called here in the USA)

Ever since I got my 240 SX, I have done so much reading about NISMO (Nissan Motor Sports) that I have wanted to buy the fastest Nissan sports car in the USA.

Choice 2) A Nissan My Fair Lady from 1997 (Called a 300zx) Twin Turbo.

Again, Coz its a nissan and 97 was the last year they made it.

If they made this car again:

Choice 1) The Nissan Skyline GTR R34.

How could you not ? Besides, they never made this car for the USA. There are rumors that Nissan is thinking about a 2007 GTR. Count me in, I know it means I cant pay rent and have to sleep in the car, but hey for a GTR, I just might do it.

Choice 2) The Nissan 240 SX.

I have this car and I know a new one with a more powerful engine cannot go wrong.

If money was not an Issue:

Choice 1) Enzo Ferrari.

The whole F1 addiction, the Ferrari craze and the amount of carbon fiber on that car.

Choice 2) Porsche Carrera GT.

Its a porsche and its their fastest street legal car. So why not, its not like I have the money.
